Spot market of PTA imports stable

Prices of PTA imports in spot market were temporarily stable. In Taiwan, while the stock was quoted at US$ 1180/ton, buyers inquired for US$ 1170/ton, before settling for a negotiated price of US$ 1175/ton.
In South Korea, while the sellers quoted a price of US$ 1165-1170/ton, bids were around US$ 1155/ton. Actually, the negotiated price was US$ 1160/ton.
In north China too, the trading atmosphere was dull with sellers quoting price in the range of 9250-9300 Yuan/ton. Buyers quoted a price of 9200 Yuan/ton but settled for a negotiated price of around 9200-9250 Yuan/ton.
The PTA market conditions were not very different in East China, with moderate amount of negotiations taking place. While sellers quoted a price of 9300 Yuan/ton, buyers inquired for 9200 Yuan/ton before finally agreeing to a negotiated price of around 9200-9250 Yuan/ton.
