The UK-based design studio Diane Harrison will feature florals and geometrics in water-colour techniques and a NED Graphics collection of woven designs in this special zone.
“Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles is the second most important trade event for us after Heimtextil in Frankfurt. It has become our meeting point for potential customers from China, Asia and Southern hemisphere countries,” said Tristan Goodfellow, sales director for the company.
The Portuguese design house from Tela's Design LDA is confident with the fair too. “We are hoping to expand our business in China's domestic market by joining the fair,” said Carlos Oliveira, CEO for the company. Tela's Design will showcase its bed linens, printed, yarn dye and jacquard design.
Another highlight of the Autumn fair is JE Corporate Shanghai, the licensee company of bedding brands Bossi and Telena Case from Italy as well as Rick's Concept from Spain. These three brands are renowned for their quality and design and are very popular among the European and American markets. “These brands will bring their new bedding collections at the fair. With its credibility among the industry, we believe this fair will help us build new business connections between our clients and local home textile companies,” said Kelvin Ping, marketing manager for JE Corporate Shanghai.
Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles 2011 is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
