PX, PTA & ethylene ascend, PSF stable

Paraxylene Asian market increased to around US$ 1405/ton. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In Chinese market, price went down to US$ 1410/ton and in domestic market it was around RMB 9300/ton.

In S E Asia, PTA market rose to US$ 1170/ton. In Chinese market, PTA trading price hovered around RMB 9025/ton but offer price hovered in between RMB 9025/ton to RMB 9050/ton. In Asian market, PTA price remained range bound in between US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1175/ton.

Ethylene price ascended up to US$ 1155/ton in S E Asian market. In F E Asian market price was in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1155/ton. In European international and domestic market, price hovered around US$ 1200/ton and € 835/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market, selling offer for ethylene was in the range of 55.50 cents/pound to 56.90 cents/pound for July delivery.

MEG markets continued to decline slowly, in S E Asian region; price hovered mainly in the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG rose to around US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1215/ton and in Chinese market, MEG price stood in the range of RMB 9300/ton to RMB 9325/ton.

PSF price was stable in N E Asian market; offers hovered around US$ 1820/ton to US$ 1830/ton. In S E Asian market PSF offers were around US$ 1830/ton. In Chinese domestic market PSF offers were stable at RMB 12500/ton.

Polyester yarn prices in Chinese domestic market were stable. Offers for FDY and POY were at RMB 13700/ton and RMB 13900/ton respectively. Selling offers for DTY was around RMB 15800/ton. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were respectively at US$ 1870/ton, 1825/ton and US$ 2120/ton.
