Global processing volume of textile fiber will increase significantly over the next 40 years at a rate of change, completely unexpected 30 years ago.
According to the projection from the United Nations, global processing capacity of textile fiber will reach 253 million tons by 2050.
Of which, usage in clothing textiles will be 41.50 million tons at a per capita fiber consumption of 4.51 kg / person / year, accounting for 16.4 percent.
Home textiles will consume 41 million tons and per capita fiber consumption will be 4.45 kg / person / year, accounting for 16.2 percent.
Industrial textiles will use 170.50 million tons at a per capita fiber consumption rate of 18.53 kg / person / year, accounting for 67.4 percent.
