Americhem Inc, a global provider of custom color and additive solutions for synthetic fiber and polymeric products, has announced that Marty Staten has been named Account Manager for the company's fibers business unit.

In his new role, Staten is responsible for account management and development of strategic plans to support overall customer growth and development opportunities for Americhem. In addition, he will focus on research and delivering marketable products and solutions through the development and management of a service plan.

“We are excited to welcome Marty to this new role at Americhem,” said Mark Downey, Americhem sales manager. “His experience and expertise will continue to add value as we strive to exceed our customers' expectations in terms of quality and services.”

Staten brings more than a decade of experience in fiber and masterbatch production to his new role. In his previous positions, he served as plant manager at Air Jet, LLC. He also started his own air jet texturizing company called Jet Tex, which he later sold to Color and Additive Technology (CAT) where he served as a production manager. In 2005, CAT was purchased by Americhem leading Staten to continue in his role as production manager.

Staten holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Austin Peay State University.

Americhem is a global organization that delivers custom color and additive solutions for clients seeking superior performance and batch-to-batch consistency for their polymer products. The company specializes in color and additive masterbatches, and single pigment dispersions, all backed by complete technical support that ensures quality, reliability and value.
