Chinese PTA imports zoom in June

China's imports of PTA registered 493,900 tons in June 2011, representing a substantial increase of 94,700 tons from May 2011 and also up 24 percent.
The average price of declaration was US $1,211.44 per ton, according to customs statistics.
Imports of other terephthalate acid (Customs tariff No. 29173619) reached 93,400 tons, showing an increase of 18,400 tons from May.
