Textiles and apparel exports from China touched US$ 22.9 billion in June 2011, a substantial 22.7 percent increase over the June 2010 period, Customs data revealed.
The country's textiles and garment exports during the first half of the current year generated US$ 111.72 billion, showing a rise of 25.8 percent over the corresponding period last year.
During the first ten months of the Chinese cotton year, which began in September 2010, China exported textiles and garment valued at US$ 188.49 billion, registering a year-on-year increase of 24.8 percent.
