International fur trade fair to begin from Oct 9

The 20th MEXA MOSCOW starts on 9th October 2011 in Moscow. Once again, Russia's only International Trade Fair for Fur & Fur Processing opens the Russian fur season with well known brands exhibiting their products and the ensuing Gala Show of the Russian Fur Union.

Looking at international catwalks it turns out that fur became high fashion again and entered the designer's collections around the globe. The repeated international interest in fur design attracts even more exhibitors and visitors from the fashion sector. In fact, the Who is Who of the fur industry is once again getting together at MEXA MOSCOW. On the Greek side, well-known brands such as Alessandro Bosso, Chrisos Furs, Emfasi, Imperia Furs and KN-Furs raise high expectations. Cavalleri, Ermolli Marco, Fanbo and Löwenstein Jos. are the names of just a few of the international exhibitors.
MEXA MOSCOW has been recognised as one of the most important events for the Russian fur industry for 17 years. The prominent position of the trade fair is also emphasized by the fact that MEXA MOSCOW has been taken into the official foreign trade fair programme of the Federal Republic of Germany for several times.
On July 25th this year's participants of the German Pavilion at MEXA MOSCOW 2011 were published. Manufacturers as well as designers from Germany will show their products in Moscow. Centropel, Expopel, Hermann Kanus, S. Ribak, Denhardt and R&L are the most popular names among the whole range of brands. In addition to manufacturers, designers and wholesalers, MEXA MOSCOW is also the place to meet suppliers of chemicals and accessories associated with furs.

By tradition, an attractive Gala Show in line with the trade fair will open the Russian fur season. Organized in close collaboration with the Russian Fur Union this exclusive fur event is an important highlight for the whole Russian fur industry. Selected companies from Russia and abroad present their new collections and creations for the upcoming season in a pleasant lounge atmosphere in front of a top-class audience. In addition to the fashion show a formal dinner and premium artistic performances are completing this splendid evening.
