Processors of undyed fibre can produce dye packages for their own or customers package dyeing operations.
The new MK1E model is the successor to the previously known 'Repco' model MK1 used for the manufacture of two fold twisted High Bulk Acrylic industrial machine knitting yarns.
• The new MK1E
• This machine feeds from rovings with a typical 1g/m weight to produce self twist yarns in the count range 2/14Nmm to 2/42Nm .
The MK1E is supplied with a creel to suit the following roving options:
• Flyer Roving tubes
• Rub Roving tubes
• Rub Roving from can
Production Speeds – Delivery speeds are 230 m/min. The delivery speed remains the same for all yarn counts.
Depending on resultant yarn counts the production of each 4 spindle MK1E will be between 2.5kg and 7kg per hour. The count range is 2/14Nm to 2/42Nm
The spinning section uses double apron drafting with pneumatic weighting. The draft ratio is adjustable between 15 and 40 in steps of 0.1 by key pad entry.
The fibres to be processed are to be standard worsted fibre length of range 60mm to 120mm and mean fibre length approx 90mm
The draft ratio on the MK1E is changed by push button control on the machines touch screen.
The advantage of the Plc control and AC motors is a reduction in power consumption to 1Kw per hour per 4 spindle machine.
One operator can operate up to 22 machines each when processing 2/28Nm counts.
The combination of low energy high production per operative and reduced waste and factory floor space makes the MK1E the best choice for low cost HB acrylic machine knitting yarns.
The yarn package take up is integral on the machine with 4 positions of 6 inch parallel cone to deliver a package up to 3kg each.
This cone would normally be processed further on high bulk steaming machines produced by companies such as Superba , Savio and Motocono.
The MK1E is also useful for the spinning of other worsted yarns, socks yarn or as components for fancy yarns and technical yarns.
Macart supplies new Steel faller bars and “Astrotec” disposable faller bars suitable for the universal NSC Schlumberger range of GC chain gill heads in both 220mm wide and 270mm wide head specification, and the CSN chain gills of Sant Andrea Novara.
The Steel faller bar is made from high quality steel with plastic inserts.
The Astrotec is a reinforced plastic faller with a high quality steel insert.
It is available in low back and high back with 220mm or 270mm pinned field.
Pinned inserts (press fit or pre-glued) are available for the GC and CSN chain gill heads and for the screw driven faller bars for the GN model intersector screw gill box.
