Dilo to exhibit & run complete production line at ITMA

The MultiCard working with a double doffer and a pair of condenser rolls delivers a homogeneous double web to the subsequent high speed crosslapper type DLSC. The cross profile regulation system type “Profiline CV1A” for the crosslaid web pre-compensates possible thicker edges in the needling installation. Furthermore, the DiloLayer DLSC 25/35 with a laydown width of 3.5 m is equipped with the latest version of our “Webguide” system to allow the highest web infeed speeds up to 160 m/min. Subsequently, the web will be fed via a CBF batt feeding system with low draft to a universal 3.5 m wide needle loom DI-LOOM OD-II SB 35.

This production line is very economic for universal web forming and needling tasks characterized by a high potential for fibre savings due to a highly homogeneous web, low energy consumption, high availability due to reduced maintenance and cleaning, ease of operation and high felt quality. Although DiloGroup has a strong focus on complete production lines for web forming and needling, we also put special emphasis on the development of carding systems in large working widths exceeding 5 m and production speeds up to 400 m/min.

In this sector DiloSpinnbau has a leading position realizing high web uniformity and an optimum strength ratio in longitudinal and cross directions at low drafts. In this context the latest developments Twinflow and MultiFeed acting together as card feeding systems have to be mentioned as they deliver a homogeneous web matt by using the doubling effect and compaction. This results in a high infeed uniformity and web homogeneity especially in direct cards without subsequent crosslapper.

For numerous installations thermobonding, thermofusion or chemical treatments and drying equipment is requested. Especially in the production of geotextiles tenter frames are ideal to preserve width or for a definite stretching in width to give a balanced strength ratio in cross and machine directions. Aerodynamic web forming for highly voluminous insulation material also requires a double apron dryer for the thermofusion of low melt fibres.

DiloGroup has therefore initiated a close cooperation with Brückner, and we plan to install a double apron dryer in our Research Centre in Eberbach to run tests and demonstrate the suitability of the technological concepts. During the ITMA exhibition in Barcelona we therefore look forward to interesting discussions with our customers who plan to realize complete lines including thermal or chemical bonding.

In addition, we have a close cooperation with Messrs. ProCtec for electrical service tasks and they will be present on our booth. DiloGroup will provide extensive technical and technological information and as usual will display a large number of nonwoven fabrics which are either needled, thermobonded or water entangled. DiloSystem is the leading supplier of nonwoven production lines with more than 200 complete installations delivered worldwide since 1995.
