PX & ethylene prices stable, PTA unchanged

Paraxylene price remained stable in Asian market. Price was around US$ 1530/ton. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1525/ton to US$ 1535/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1540/ton. In Chinese market, price went down to US$ 1535/ton.
In S E Asia, PTA price was unchanged. In Chinese market, PTA trading price hovered around RMB 9500/ton but offer price hovered in between RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9600/ton. In Asian market, PTA price remained range bound in between US$ 1245/ton to US$ 1250/ton.
Ethylene price remained stable around US$ 1220/ton in S E Asian market. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 1005/ton to € 1015/ton and in imported goods, it was in between US$1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In U.S.A market selling offers for Ethylene was in the range of 62.85 cents/pound to 63.25 cents/pound.
MEG price remain unchanged along with allied PET raw material. Price hovered mainly in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1225/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG increased to around US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1225/ton and in domestic Chinese market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region in tandem with feedstock prices and was assessed between US$ 1665/ton to US$ 1675/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1670/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 12600/ton.
FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets remained stable around US$ 1600/ton to US$ 1610/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1590/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 12650/ton to RMB 12750/ton.
PSF price remained stable, in N E Asian market; offers hovered in the range of US$ 1895/ton to US$ 1905/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1905/ton. In Chinese domestic market PSF offers were at RMB 13050/ton.
Polyester yarn prices in Chinese domestic market were stable. Offers for POY and FDY were at RMB 14150/ton and RMB 14200/ton. Selling offers for DTY were stable around RMB 16100/ton. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were respectively at US$ 1940/ton, 1910/ton and US$ 2175/ton.
