Compared with a month ago the quotations at the New York Cotton Exchange show a significant decrease. The quotations for near dates in the reporting week reach an average of 101.44 cents/lb. The works holidays continue to curb market activities significantly.
Turnover was registered in US Pima for prompt, Chad for prompt, Argentinian cotton for prompt as well as Spanish cotton for 4th Quarter 2011 and 1st + 2nd Quarter 2012.
