PSF price ascends & polyester yarn stays soft

Paraxylene price declined in Asian market price and was quoted around US$ 1555/ton. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1555/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1560/ton. In Chinese market, price went down to US$ 1555/ton.
In S E Asia, PTA price increased. In Chinese market, PTA trading price hovered around RMB 9750/ton but offer price hovered in between RMB 9700/ton to RMB 9800/ton. In Asian market, PTA price remained range bound in between US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1265/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was around US$ 1265/ton.
Ethylene price was stable at US$ 1175/ton in S E Asian market. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1175/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 980/ton to € 990/ton and in imported goods it was in between US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1405/ton. In U.S.A market selling offers for Ethylene was in the range of 60.85 cents/pound to 61.25 cents/pound.
MEG price remain unchanged. Price hovered mainly in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG increased to around US$ 1245/ton to US$ 1250/ton and in domestic Chinese market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9600/ton.
BGPET Chips price inclined in S E Asian region in tandem with feedstock prices and was assessed between US$ 1725/ton to US$ 1735/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1730/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 12900/ton.
FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets declined to US$ 1600/ton to US$ 1610/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1590/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 12400/ton to RMB 12500/ton.
PSF price jumped up in N E Asian market; offers hovered in the range of US$ 1905/ton to US$ 1915/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1910/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers were in the range of RMB 12900/ton to RMB 13050/ton.
Polyester yarn prices in Chinese domestic market remained soft. Offers for POY and FDY were at RMB 14000/ton and RMB 14100/ton. Selling offers for DTY were stable around RMB 16050/ton. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were respectively at US$ 1925/ton, 1895/ton and US$ 2185/ton.
