Chinese textile exports to Indonesia skyrocket in 2011

In the first half of this year, China's yarn exports to Indonesia registered US $120 million, up 87.8 percent year on year, accounting for 7.2 percent of China's textile and garment exports to Indonesia over the same period.
Of which, exports of cotton yarn and synthetic fiber yarn grew 110.6 percent and 84.2 percent, respectively, year on year.
China's fabric exports to Indonesia fetched US $988 million, accounting for 61 percent, representing an increase of 57.5 percent year on year.
Average export prices of cotton and chemical fiber fabrics cloth were US $2.29 / meter and US $ 1.06 / meter, up 40 percent and 15.6 percent, respectively, year on year.
Among finished products, Indonesia' demand for industrial textiles grows rapidly, China's exports of industrial textiles to Indonesia registered US $180 million in the first half, an increase of 56 percent year on year.
Among garment exports, knitwear exports fetched US $150 million, up 13.6 percent year on year.
