Another exciting year in the textile industry is well underway. If one doesn't like the state of the industry today, don't worry because it will be different tomorrow. One goal of the SYFA is to keep its members informed of these changes so your companies can be better prepared for these changes in the industry.
One interesting trend that was discussed at the previous SYFA Spring Conference was the potential for growth in North American textiles in several markets in spite of increases in raw material prices. Hopefully our members will experience this projected growth in 2011.
The SYFA's mission is "to promote the production, improvement, and use of synthetic yarns and fibers." Our board of directors makes a concerted effort to achieve this mission in planning our agenda for our spring and fall conferences. Plans for our fall conference are near completion with an agenda that the board is excited about sharing with our membership. Our goal is to continue to provide valuable information from a variety of market perspectives in our product chain.
The Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association is dedicated to serving our members and the industry.
