A new bed linen manufacturing facility has been inaugurated in central Bereket District in Turkmenistan's Balkan province by the Ministry of Textiles.
The new facility houses an annual production capacity of 600,000 bed linen sets.
Bright coloured plain and printed cotton fabrics produced in Turkmenistan's textile plants that come in trendy patterns would be used to prepare bed linen in this new plant.
The new facility equipped with machinery imported from Turkey, Japan, Belgium, Germany and Italy has created 150 new employment opportunities.
Employees including designers, technicians, engineers, mechanics and other professionals directly engaged in the production process have been imparted special training.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, too attended the inauguation of the plant.
