Exports of other home decoration items dropped by 17.9 percent volume wise, but registered a 29.3 percent growth in terms of value.

In terms of market, China shipped home textiles worth US$ 3.01 billion to the US during the January-July period, registering a year-on-year rise of 1.4 percent. However, this was lower than the growth rate of 33.3 percent achieved during the corresponding period last year.

China's home textile shipments to EU was worth US$ 2.15 billion, indicating a year-on-year rise of 11.8 percent, but still this remained below last year's corresponding period's growth rate of 25 percent.
