Polyester & nylon blended yarns price to rise

Prices of polyester and nylon blended yarns are expected to rise, as prices of raw material in the upstream sector have currently increased.
Last week, market trade of polyester and nylon blended yarns was limited owing to less demand from downstream sector. However, the prices of polyester and nylon blended filament remained stable, mainly due to steady sales of downstream fabrics.
In Shengze market, the prices of polyester and nylon blended yarns remained unchanged from the previous week. While the price of DTY150D/36F × 16 remained at 20,500 Yuan/ton, the price of DTY160D/72F × 16 was 20,200 Yuan/ton.
The price of polyester/nylon blended yarn DTY90D/75F × 16 stabilized at 26,800 Yuan/ton, and that of polyester/nylon blended yarn DTY75D/36F × 16 was at 27,800 Yuan/ton.
Volume-wise, the trade in polyester/nylon blended yarn DTY160D/72F × 16 has increased recently, while the trade in DTY90D/75F × 16 has dipped.
