China's large-scale textile industries have seen a rise in their output value to 2.502 trillion Yuan, registering a 30.03 percent year-on-year rise during the first six months of 2011, as per the latest data from China Textile Industry Association.
Among the sub-sectors, the hemp and linen industry achieved the highest year-on-year growth of 43.04 percent in its industrial production during the January-June period.
It was followed by the chemical industry which saw a year-on-year increase of 36.32 percent in its industrial output during the review period.
The industrial output of cotton textile enterprises increased at 31.46 percent year-on-year during the same period.
The printing and dyeing industry, however, witnessed the lowest increase of 19.42 percent in its industrial production during the first half of current year.
