Chortex USA is all set to launch a new Kenya made range of towels in the US market. The new range, made using Eastern Africa's long-staple cotton, perfectly matches the current range of Chortex's Turkey made towels.
The new towel line is being manufactured at a new plant in the suburbs of Kenya's capital Nairobi. The plant is fully vertical and houses state-of-the-art machinery imported from Europe.
As revealed by the company, its new facility is completely eco-friendly and leaves a zero carbon footprint. It utilizes accumulated rain water and also houses its private water purification and recycling plant to further sustain its environment-friendly process.
Besides long staple cotton from African countries like Tanzania, Uganda and Mozambique, Egyptian long staple cotton is also used for production of new towel line.
The company has achieved great success in selling its Kenya made towels to customers in the UK and is now offering the same to the US market and that too at very economical rates.
Chortex USA plans to display its Made in Kenya range of towels in eight to 10 colourways during the New York Home Fashion Market Week.
