'Textile Industry – Vision 2020' Conference to be held in Mumbai

Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), apex industry chamber of the textile and allied industries of India, in association with Daily News & Analysis (DNA) and Dainik Bhaskar Group (DBG), India's largest newspaper group, is organising 'Textile Industry – Vision 2020' conference on 29th September 2011 at 'Rooftop', Hotel Trident, Mumbai. The Conference will focus on the issues and challenges of the industry and the strategy for making India the numero uno player in global textile market.

Speakers and participants are being invited from all countries involved in production of textiles, clothing, textile machinery and allied products as well as trade in these products in order to get their perspectives on the emerging scenario and future trends.

The conference will be an important event which brings together the leading players in textile and clothing industry, leading retail players, sourcing companies, banks and financial institutions to discuss the emerging opportunities in this vital sector. The conference will also focus on the emerging technologies in manufacturing, supply chain management and issues related to raw material and price volatility.

The conference will also highlight the growth scenario of the textile and apparel sector, domestic retail sector and will attempt to evolve a road map for the industry for the future.

Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), a Company under Section 25 of the Companies Act 1956 is the new name of Indian Cotton Mills' Federation (ICMF).
