Intertek expands in Cambodia with new testing facility

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety services to a wide range of industries around the world, has expanded its services in Cambodia. The company recently inaugurated a new three-story facility in Khan Chamkarmon, which houses oil and chemical, minerals, food, agricultural, and consumer product testing capabilities.

The new building supports Intertek's expansion in Cambodia, as the company delivers quality services and solutions across growing industries. Intertek helps local and international customers to establish quality and safety in their goods and products for local and global markets.

Located in southern Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital city, Intertek's facility at Khan Chamkarmon is strategically situated to support major distribution, industrial and manufacturing activities, supporting international trade and domestic production. From the new location, Intertek provides a range of testing and quality related solutions for industries in the region.

The expansion adds to Intertek's existing operations in Cambodia, which include textile testing, consumer product auditing and inspection, along with the testing and inspections of bulk commodities cargo such as petroleum, chemicals, minerals, food and agricultural products.

Sothy Khuth, Country Manager for Cambodia, said, “The new multi-lab facility provides support to multiple industries located in the greater Phnom Penh region, and is a strategic investment. We are leveraging Intertek's wider range of expertise and capabilities, providing an extended range of valuable services for customers within Cambodia. The facility complements our surrounding network in Southeast Asia and supports clients who require multi-country support in the region.”
