New quilting machine to be displayed at Korean textile expo

HANNAM FAS, Korean manufacturer and exporter of embroidery and quilting machines, will be showcasing a new machine at the 18th Korea International Textile Machinery Exhibition 'KORTEX', to be held in Korea from November 2-5, 2011.
The company will display the Presser foot quilting machine which quilts by lock stitch and head-moving. Seen as a better substitute for all existing quilting machines, it is very simple and easy to operate.
Presser foot quilting machine is available in two types – one needle and two needles. The two needle type of machine can make more different designs than a one needle type machine.
In the two needles type of machine, the interval between the back and front needles can be 75, 100 or 200 mm. The positioning of the needles is either straight or zigzag and all kinds of fabrics (max. 700 g/m²) can be quilted. For a diamond design, the maximum output would be 100 metres per hour.
Established in 1997, HANNAM has been concentrating on developing high technology embroidery machines and has been able to get ISO 14001 certifications. It has also got CE mark, a mandatory conformity mark for products placed on the market in the European countries.
HANNAM is the pioneer of Computerized Roll-type Embroidery Machine 'KOREM', which has a roller system that helps in continuous working and mass production. KOREM has replaced the earlier frame-type embroidery machine.
