PX, PTA, MEG & PSF prices continue to dip

Paraxylene (PX) price continued to decline in Asian markets and was around US$ 1650/ton. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1650/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1645/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In Chinese market, price went down to near US$ 1650/ton.
In S E Asia, PTA price declined further. In Chinese market, offer price hovered in between RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton. In Asian market, PTA price declined to in between US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1245/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1245/ton.
Ethylene price too descended and was assessed below US$ 1070/ton in S E Asian market. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 925/ton to € 935/ton. Price of imported goods was in between US$ 1245/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In U.S.A domestic market selling offers were in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound.
MEG price declined to US$ 1245/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG fell in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255/ton and in domestic Chinese market; price was in the range of RMB 9800/ton to RMB 9850/ton. In U.S.A market, MEG was around 56.5 cents/pound.
BGPET Chips price was stable in S E Asian region and was assessed between US$ 1785/ton to US$ 1795/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1795/ton for export goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 13300/ton.
FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets remained stable at US$ 1735/ton to US$ 1745/ton and in Indian market FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1710/ton to US$ 1720/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 12900/ton to RMB 13000/ton.
PSF price continued to descend in Asian market. PSF offers hovered in the range of US$ 1960/ton to US$ 1970/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1965/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers were in the range of RMB 13500/ton to RMB 13550/ton.
Polyester yarn prices fell in Chinese domestic market. Offers for POY and FDY were at RMB 14100/ton and RMB 14500/ton. Selling offers for DTY were down to RMB 16150/ton. In export market offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1930/ton, 1975/ton and US$ 2205/ton, respectively.
