New office-bearers of SIMA CD & RA for 2011-12

36th Annual General Meeting of the SIMA Cotton Development & Research Association held on September 28, 2011.

Shri V. Selvapathy, Managing Director, Pongalur Pioneer Textiles Pvt. Ltd, Tamil Nadu, has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Association for the year 2011-2012. Shri. V.Selvapathy is an alternate Committee Member in Confederation of Indian Textile Industry, New Delhi. He has travelled extensively.

Shri T. Rajkumar, Managing Director of Sri Mahasakthi Mills Limited, Coimbatore, has been elected as Deputy Chairman of the Association for the year 2011-2012. Shri Rajkumar is also the Executive Director of Sakthi Group Textile Division. Shri T. Rajkumar is Deputy-Chairman of the SIMA, Coimbatore also. He is a Committee Member in the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), New Delhi. He is actively involved on the various Committees and Boards of various educational institutions, temples and charities. He has widely travelled.

Shri C. K. Naarayanasaami, Managing Director, Micrrocot Spinn India (P) Ltd., has been unanimously re-elected as Vice-Chairman of the Association for the year 2011-2012. He is a Director, Indian Cotton Federation and also member of the Cotton Advisory Board, Ministry of Textiles. He is also a committee member in Southern India Mills Association, Coimbatore.
