Trevira CS Award at MoOD goes to Bruvatex

At MoOD in Brussels in September, the coveted prize granted by Trevira for the best collection in their flame retardant fibres presented at the show stays in Belgium this year: Bruvatex received the award for its collection “All in one: Different Faces of Trevira CS” created by the company's designer Inge de Bruyne and her team.

The fabric range includes some real novelties: In first place stands a new heavy velvet made from fibre yarns in an outstanding quality. Bruvatex worked closely together with the spinner and also with dyer/finisher in order to achieve the typical velvet feeling that is usually provided by natural fibres.

Other newcomers in the collection are Trevira CS fabrics, knitted in different techniques. These can be used as throws, cushion covers and upholstery fabrics, and perfectly fit into the trend of giving textiles a “homemade” and very natural look. This range complements the broad line of Jacquard fabrics in the existing Trevira CS-collection of Bruvatex.

Bruvatex looks back on a long-standing textile tradition. The company was founded in 1946 and is run successfully in the 3rd generation today. “Our concept is based on quality rather than volume”, says owner Philip Bruggeman. “The secrets of our success are flexibility, creativity and customized products.” Bruvatex started with Trevira CS already 20 years ago. the company works for the major European editors and counts renowned brands among their customers.
