PSR Group opens family wear outlet in Coimbatore

PSR Group has opened a family wear outlet in Coimbatore. The new eight-storied showroom is a diversification for the Group which solely focused on women's wear till now.

The new outlet is an addition to the Group's already existing retail outlets in Coimbatore, Puducherry, Mysore, Erode and Mangalore, which mainly stock women's wear.

The new outlet developed at a cost of one billion rupees has built-up area of 100,000 sq. ft.

The cotton segment of the new showroom showcases Gadwal, Kancheepuram and Venkatagiri saris, while the silk segment exhibits a collection of Kancheepuram, Hyderabad, Ikat and Patola silk saris. The Group proposes to soon introduce menswear collection in this new outlet.

There are more than 1,000 handloom weavers who directly supply products to the Group, which is looking forward to persuade more weavers, particularly the youth to join Arani, Dharmavaram and Kancheepuram weaving.

PSR Group has eri silk fabrics in its collection and it even proposes to engage in weaving of muga silk saris.

For the Diwali festive season, the company has unveiled 10 trendy and traditional wear designs.
