China's per capita consumption of textile fiber will reach 19 kg during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period.
Of this, cotton fiber consumption will account for 51 percent and per capita consumption of cotton fiber will reach 12 kg.
China's domestic fiber consumption is about 25 million tons per year, calculated on basis that 60 percent of output is consumed domestically.
China's processing capacity of textile fiber stood at 41.3 million tons in 2010, according to data released by China Textile Industry Association.
