ACN line of CPDC goes off-stream to expand capacity

Taiwan-based China Petrochemical Development Corporation (CPDC) has undertaken a turnaround of its Acrylonitrile (ACN) line no-1 in order to expand capacity.
A CDPC official told fibre2fashion that line no-1 with a capacity to produce 95,000 tons per annum has been taken off-stream from October 1 in order to expand capacity of the plant.
He added by saying that the line would restart from November 9 and after expansion the production capacity would reach 120,000 tons per year.
He further informed that a maintenance turnaround has also been scheduled for line no-2, which has a capacity of 125,000 tons per year, from October 23 till November 30
