Benzene plant of Mitsui to undergo turnaround next year

Japan-based Mitsui Chemicals is contemplating turnaround maintenance of its benzene plant in the last quarter of next year.
“The plan and date for the turnaround will be officially finalised in the first quarter of 2012”, a company official informed fibre2fashion.
He added by saying that the tentative month would be October 2012 and the plant would stay off-stream for a period of 30 days.
The benzene plant is located in Osaka and has a capacity to produce 100,000 tons per annum and is currently operating at full capacity rates.
