Crypton, a textile technology company which manufacturers eco-friendly performance fabrics and products, announced its next step in helping consumers live clean, with CryptonHome. A revolutionary product line featuring furniture, pet beds and performance fabrics, CryptonHome products repel stains and liquids, and fight odor-causing bacteria.

Driven by consumer insight, the privately-held Crypton company leverages its 18 years of experience in performance textiles to bring the benefits of its fabric from the contract world into the homes of consumers. Frequently used in top restaurants, major hotel chains, offices and hospitals throughout the world, like McDonald's, Hilton Hotels, PNC Bank and P.F. Chang's, the company watched their fabrics rapidly gain popularity for residential use because of its attributes, and as a result, created CryptonHome.

"As 'living clean' became more important to Americans, we watched as our fabrics and products took hold in the residential marketplace, which rapidly grew to represent 30% of our business," said Randy Rubin, co-founder of Crypton. "With our expansion into homes across America, households, especially those with children and pets, can live comfortably without concern for spills and stains."

To further expand CryptonHome's product line, the company is partnering with several furniture manufacturers to develop upholstered pieces with unparalleled durability, cleanability and microbial protection that won't wear away. Crypton has partnered with manufacturers, such as American Leather, Century, Comfort Designs, Frontgate, Gloster, Hancock & Moore, Henredon, Jessica Charles, Kolcraft, Lazar, Rowe, Taylor King, Thayer Coggin, and Woodard. All CryptonHome products are made in the USA, using environmentally friendly processes.

For several years, the company has created products for the consumer home space including both juvenile and pet products, such as:

• Pet beds and Throvers, blankets that look like a blanket, but act like a tarp;
• Nursery rockers and crib mattresses;
• Aprons, placemats and pillows;
• Umbrellas, tote bags and duffle bags;
• Cleaners for upholstery, leather, vinyl, and pets.

In order to support the launch of CryptonHome, Crypton developed a new logo, as well as created the tagline, "Now You Can." This tagline signifies that consumers can now have stain, liquid and odor-causing bacteria resistant sofas and furniture that is easy-to-clean right in their own homes. The company also re-launched its Facebook page, garnering more than 25,000 new fans in less than 24 hours.

CryptonHome's Facebook page is filled with design and stain removal tips, product information, coupons and giveaways.
CryptonHome will be exhibiting with its partners at the highly popular Fall High Point Market, October 22 – 27. To learn more about CryptonHome and its product line.

Headquartered in West Bloomfield, MI, Crypton provides eco-friendly textile solutions that offer complete stain, moisture and odor-causing bacteria protection. Crypton has an 18-year heritage in the commercial sector, with hospitals, offices, restaurants and hotels around the world incorporating Crypton's fabrics, wall coverings and leather. Inspired by consumer insight, Crypton launched CryptonHome, a consumer products line, in 2011 to offer consumers stain-free, easy-clean living.
