China's purchase of cotton reserves reaches 184,730 tons

The total purchase under China's strategic cotton reserves project reached 184,730 tons on November 2.
While the majority purchase of 134,240 tons was from Xinjiang, inland transaction accounted for 50,490 tons.
On November 2, China planned to purchase a total of 62,800 tons of cotton. However, the transactions for the day were 40,360 tons with a turnover rate of 64 percent.
Xinjiang warehouse planned to purchase 38,600 tons of cotton, but actual transactions were 30,680 tons, i.e. a turnover rate of 79 percent.
Similarly, inland warehouse planned to buy 24,200 tons of cotton, but the actual purchase was only 40 percent at 9680 tons.
