PX & ethylene prices up, PTA & PSF down

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX price hovered in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In F E Asian countries, PX price were marked in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In Chinese market, price surged up and was assessed at US$ 1450/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA prices declined. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1095/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1090/ton. In Chinese market, PTA price was marked in between RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8300/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price went up to in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 995/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 865/ton to € 870/ton. In N W European market, Ethylene price was at US$ 1175/ton (on CIF base). In U.S.A market, Ethylene price was in the range of 49.55 cents/pound to 50.05 cents/pound.
MEG price decreased in S E Asian markets. MEG was offered in the range of US$ 1130/ton to US$ 1135/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 8600/ton to RMB 8650/ton. In European market selling offer was in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1175/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price remained stable in between US$ 1620/ton to US$ 1630/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1630/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip price went up and was offered at RMB 11500/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices were marked in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1450/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 10350/ton to RMB 10450/ton.
PSF price declined further, in Asian market. PSF offers hovered in the range of US$ 1640/ton to US$ 1650/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1650/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers fell in the range of RMB 11300/ton to RMB 11400/ton.
Polyester POY prices dropped down in Chinese domestic market. POY prices slipped down and were quoted at RMB 11900/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers too fell to RMB 12300/ton RMB 14200/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1620/ton, US$ 1665/ton and US$ 1940/ton, respectively.
