PTA & PSF trends continue to fall, MEG unchanged

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up at slow pace in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX price hovered in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In F E Asian countries, PX price was marked in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market, price surged up and was assessed at US$ 1470/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA prices went down. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1080/ton. In Chinese market, PTA price was marked in between RMB 7900/ton to RMB 8000/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price remained unchanged, in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 995/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 860/ton to € 865/ton. In N W European market, Ethylene price was at US$ 1175/ton (on CIF base). In U.S.A market, Ethylene price was in the range of 50.15 cents/pound to 50.65 cents/pound.
MEG price remained unchanged in S E Asian markets. MEG was offered in the range of US$ 1125/ton to US$ 1135/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8450/ton. In U.S.A market selling offer was in the range of 51.05 cents/pound to 51.75 cents/pound.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price did not change and was assessed around US$ 1580/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1590/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip went up and was offered at RMB 11200/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices was marked in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1400/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 9050/ton to RMB 10050/ton.
PSF price declined in Asian market. PSF offers hovered in the range of US$ 1580/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1590/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers fell in the range of RMB 10950/ton to RMB 11050/ton.
Polyester POY prices in Chinese domestic market stood at RMB 11600/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at RMB 11900/ton RMB 13800/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1570/ton, US$ 1605/ton and US$ 1875/ton, respectively.
