Small transactions dominate China's benzene market

China's benzene market was dominated by small transactions on Wednesday, while supply was moderate.
In East China, market transactions were in the range of 7650-7700 yuan/ton, while they were in the range of 7500-7550 yuan/ton in South China and 7550-7600 yuan/ton in North China.
Buying activity was relatively flat and downstream procurement was mainly based on demand. Negotiations looked dull and moderate amount of transactions took place. However, the market is expected to show a slight upward trend in the short term.
The ex-factory price of benzene from Northeast Brand of China National Petroleum was 7400 yuan/ton, with stable production and sales.
The implementation price of pure benzene for Changling refinery, Central Sales Company, Wuhan Petrochemical, Luoyang Petrochemical under Sinopec was 7550 yuan/ton. Inventory pressure is not high and sales are stable.
