Imports Unlimited has changed its name to Entryways and has created a whole new collection for 2012. “We changed our name to Entryways because that is where our floor and doormats can be found in one's home” says Eirini Kalafatides, president of the company. “And we're introducing a new line of value-oriented mats we're calling our Sweet Home Collection.”

As distinctive as they are affordable, each mat in the new collection is crafted of 100% natural coir with non-slip backing. The colorful array of designs in Entryways' Sweet Home Collection ranges from butterflies and floral motifs to the patriotic “Stars and Stripes” and the fun and eye-catching “Watermelon.” For those who enjoy a touch of whimsy, a mother and baby owl are perched upon the branch of a tree.

“We wanted to give retailers the ability to appeal to a wider market,” says Kalafatides. “But we were determined to make our new line of mats unique and special, not just less expensive.” Like the high end mats that the company is known for, each mat in the Sweet Home Collection is designed by an artist and crafted to the company's high standards. Each mat in the collection measures approximately 17” X 28”.

Entryways will continue to offer and expand its high end line of mats. And the company has given these mats a new name as well: the Handmade Collection. This collection continues the company tradition of handcrafted, hand stenciled and all natural mats that have always been the standard by which the finest mats are judged.

“There is something for every taste and lifestyle in our Handmade Collection for 2012,” says Kalafatides. Customers can welcome springtime with an artful floral composition entitled “Garden Silhouettes” or enhance their doorway with beautiful pastel wildflowers.

Those who want humor on their doorstep might prefer the replica “Come in We're OPEN” sign or the happy “Dancing Frogs.” From luscious strawberries to “Americana,” the Handmade Collection is a richly varied gallery of mats created to be works of art.

“With these two collections, our mission is to be the home décor destination for every home's entrances,” says Kalafatides. Entryways aims to help retailers appeal to virtually everyone who wants door and floor mats that are out of the ordinary. Entryways' creations appeal to those who want to welcome people into their homes with designs that express something about the individual who chose it.

Besides enabling retailers to offer more Entryways' mats to more people, “Our retail customers know about our commitment to providing the best customer service,” says Kalafatides. “That is something we will never change.”

In all, Entryways now offers more than 200 different doormat designs. The spring collections won't be available until January, 2012.
