Taiwan will continue to impose anti-dumping duty on imports of Chinese towels, the Finance Ministry informed yesterday.
The Tariff Committee under the Finance Ministry said, “Anti-dumping duty on Chinese towels will continue for a period of another five years and will be effective from December 20, 2011”.
The anti-dumping duty on imports of Chinese-make towels ranges between 86.6 percent and 204.1 percent.
Taiwan first imposed the duty in June 2006 for a period of five years and restarted investigations once the term expired in May 2011.
