New York City will host the largest market for home textiles resources in the United States, January 27-February 2, 2012, with Home Textiles Market Week in New York presenting some 600 bed, bath, linen and home fashion vendors at five venues across New York City: New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF), at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94; 230 Fifth Avenue; and 7 W New York.

“Twice a year, buyers converge upon New York City to shop and source an unparalleled range of mid-to-high-end home textiles,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and GLM senior vice president. “The market also offers participants a series of expert-led seminars, industry-wide special events, helpful amenities and enticing promotions.”

At New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF), At Home featuring Home Textiles at the Javits Center presents some 200 suppliers of bed and bath fashions, such as table linens, kitchen textiles, towels, decorative accessories, area rugs, window treatments and decorative fabrics.

Newcomers to this location for winter 2012 include Gitika Goyal (bed and table linens), Home Fabrics (bedding), Indian Designs (home textiles), LuRu Home (home accessories, pillows, table linens), Mia + Finn (home textiles) and Zensilk Inc. (silk bedding), as well as Kashu Sales (decorative home textiles), Mariachi Imports (rugs), and Rennie & Rose (decorative home textiles), all relocating into At Home featuring Home Textiles from other NYIGF divisions.

Fine (draperies, bedding), Serenity Fair (cashmere throws), and Teresa Alecrim (home textiles from Portugal).

In addition, a number of current Home Textiles Market Week participants will expand their exhibit space at NYIGF for the winter 2012 market: Bella Notte (bedding), Brahms Mount (throws), Broderi Narin (table linens), COCOCOZY (pillows and draperies), Peacock Alley (bedding), Pluto (loungewear), Roberta Roller Rabbit (bedding and loungewear), Scents & Feel (throws), SDH (bedding) and V Rugs & Home (pillows).

(kitchen and bath), as well as Jewels/T Salon (tabletop, gifts and tea); SmartWorks Products (As-Seen-On-TV, general merchandise); and 24/7 Empresaria (organic gift baskets).
