Chinese CPL spot import & domestic markets rise

China's spot market prices of caprolactam (CPL) imports rose on December 27. Cargo holders appeared to be reluctant sellers, so actual negotiation was moderate.
Sporadic offers were in the range of US $2700-2750 / ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days), downstream bids were around $2,650 / ton, market negotiated price was about $2700 / ton.
China's domestic CPL spot market too increased yesterday, although trading atmosphere was calm in the markets.
Sporadic offers were in the range of 21,300-21,400 Yuan / ton, downstream bids were around 21,200 Yuan / ton and market prices were in the range of 21,200-21,300 Yuan / ton.
