SIMA thanks TN CM for Textile Park grant

SIMA Chief has pointed out of 21 parks recently sanctioned; only two are from Tamilnadu. He has appealed to the State government to earmark few thousands of acres of lands along the coastal line and declare them as dedicated zone for textile processing and attract investments thereby giving permanent solution for the perennial pollution problem in the States which provides direct and indirect employment to over 50 lakh people and fetching Rs.70,000 cores as foreign exchange earnings and accounting 1/3rd of the textile business in the country.
