Kingpins Denim Show displays latest innovations

The Kingpins Denim Show drew eyes of a different class of people this year as it showcased latest innovations for the laser design and finishing machine developed by Spanish firm Jeanologia.
The new additions drew attention of many laundry and factory owners interested in seeing the laser demonstration.
The GSK laser machine, displayed at the show, uses laser technology and environmental-impact-measuring software for denim washes and for creating print designs. The new machine has a capacity to produce 100 pairs of sandblasted jeans in an hour's time, compared to churning out 30 pairs of jeans by a person in about the same time while working manually.
The show this year added 10 more exhibitors to the last year's list taking the tally of companies participating in the event to 118.
The show was held this year at a bigger location with better lightning to see the denims, which was even closer to downtown.
The two-day boutique show held in Los Angeles showcased the latest fits, washes and trends in denims.
Kingpins has lined up 10 events this year in Los Angeles, New York, Bombay, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
