MAG Solvics unveils four new yarn testing machines

It is an automatic and rapid testing instrument, using a variable driven speed control unit with positive gearing mechanism for trouble-free operation. This model has the options of stand-alone or operating along with computer connectivity. Enhanced user friendly software provides the entire yarn testing like Hank & Count, Strength, CSP, Single yarn strength and Twist analysis.

The results are in the formats of numerical data's like daily report, periodical reports, frame wise, shift wise, type wise and operator wise. Graphical reports include variation graph, trend chart, bar chart and FE curve. The software also provides additional testing parameters like A%, Noil% and Stretch%.

The fourth tesing machine launched by MAG Solvics is the MAG SITRA AbraTest - Computerized Yarn Abrasion Tester, which is an ergonomically designed, rugged table top model with double column mechanism.

Abrasion Resistance of yarn is of great importance, since it not only affects processing performance but plays a significant role in the assessment of the quality of end product. MAG-SITRA developed a computer controlled tester to test the abrasion resistance of different types of spun and filament yarns which will be an additional utility value instrument for a quality control laboratory in textile mills.
