PX, PTA, ethylene & MEG trends continue to be stable

Paraxylene (PX) price was stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PX prices were at US$ 1590/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1575/ton to US$ 1580/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1575/ton. In European market, PX price was in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1440/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA price was stable. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1155/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1150/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price was around RMB 8850/ton to RMB 8950/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price remained stable in the range of around US$ 1110/ton to US$ 1115/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1115/ton. In N W European market, ethylene price was at US$ 1280/ton (on CIF base). In U.S.A market, ethylene price was in the range of 60.50 cents/pound to 61.50 cents/pound.
MEG prices were stable in S E Asian markets and offered in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 8550/ton to RMB 8650/ton. In European market, selling offers were in the range of US$ 960/ton to US$ 970/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was at a standstill in the range of US$ 1585/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1595/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip was offered at RMB 11050/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1510/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1495/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 10950/ton to RMB 11050/ton.
PSF price in North Asian market hovered in the range of US$ 1740/ton to US$ 1750/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1695/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers increased in the range of RMB 12000/ton to RMB 12100/ton.
Polyester POY prices in Chinese domestic market were stable. POY price was around RMB 12100/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at RMB 12850/ton to RMB 13400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1650/ton, US$ 1745/ton and US$ 1820/ton, respectively.
