Newlife presents new applications at Heimtextil

Almost a year after the successful launch of Newlife for the fashion business, Filature Miroglio, the producer of the innovative and unique Newlife recycled polyester yarns range, launches its applications and solutions portfolio for the household and home textiles business segments. At Heimtextil, January 11-14 2012, Filature Miroglio presents an eco-library of Newlife- made materials specifically designed for home, textile and retail applications.

“Since its launch last February, Newlife has generated good commercial results in the fashion industry,” says Stefano Cochis – Business Unit Director of Filature Miroglio –“The new home and textile applications are already generating interest with businesses seeking innovative, technology-forward materials that are also more sustainable and better for the environment.”

Newlife textiles and materials develops a variety of properties that make them ideal for use in home or retails spaces including cotton touch, moisture management and linting (the ability to avoid dust release). Newlife allow fabrics to dry quickly, which makes them ideal for both home and industrial uses as they waste less energy in washing and drying.

Filature Miroglio, an internal division of MiroglioTextile, has been an international leader in the production of polyester filament and spun yarns for over 30 years.
