M'rashtra expects 1.1mn new jobs from new textile policy

4) 10% Capital grant for units in Vidarbha / Marathwada and North Maharashtra:
A) New grant scheme for new textile units in Vidarbha / Marathwada and North Maharashtra will be started. Highlights, eligibility requirements, eligibility components, details of grant distribution procedure orders will be issued separately for the same.
5) Whether financial aid for development of textile park in districts with low human resources development, under a sub plan for tribal or for special units should be given or what can be done will be considered with the consultation of the concerned department.
6) Hi-tech Textile industrial sector needs skilled workers. Skill-development program will be introduced with the help of Higher and Technical Education Department.
7) Welfare schemes like Housing Schemes, ESIS will be utilized.
