ATEXCON 2012 to be held in Mumbai in March

Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) is the apex industry chamber of the textiles & clothing industry of India, representing the entire textile value chain from yarn to garments and home textiles as well as the textile machinery industry.

CITI has been organizing an annual event 'Asian Textile Conference (ATEXCON)' from 2005 onwards. ATEXCON brings together the lead players of Asian textile industry, global input suppliers and service providers to deliberate on key areas of business, like raw materials scenario, capacity building, innovations in technology, trade and business opportunities and other regional as well as global issues concerning this sector. The Conference also focuses on the emerging opportunities through cross country cooperation.

The 6th Asian Textile Conference (ATEXCON) will be held on 5th and 6th March 2012 in Hotel Westin, Mumbai, India. The Theme of the 6th ATEXCON is 'Creating New Opportunities Through Cross Country Cooperation'. Click here for Conference e-brochure.

Speakers and participants are being invited from all countries involved in fibres, textiles, clothing, textile machinery and allied products. Leading industry representatives from USA, EU, Japan, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Korea and Africa are being invited to participate. Over 250 leading textile and clothing manufacturers from India and abroad are expected to participate in the 6th ATEXCON.

6th ATEXCON is organized concurrently with the Kingpins show being held at Bombay Exhibition Centre on 6th & 7th March 2012. The Kingpins Show is one of the largest Denim Shows organized world-over by Olah Inc. ATEXCON and Kingpins Show are organized simultaneously to create a rare chance for textile manufacturers to interact and explore new and prospective business areas.

Track Record of ATEXCON
The previous ATEXCONs organized by CITI, evoked considerable interest among Indian and international textiles and clothing business community. The two-day event brings together the who's who of textiles and clothing sector from Asia to deliberate the prevailing trends in technology, raw materials issues and production, sales as well as trade related matters.
