Chinese CPL spot import trends flat

The Chinese spot caprolactam (CPL) import market appeared flat on February 7, cargo holders were reluctant to sell at cheap cost and active offers were rare in the market.
Sporadic offers were in the range of US $3050-3100 / ton (CFR China main port in the L/C 90 days), downstream bids were in the range of $2950-3000 / ton, actual negotiation focused on $3000-3050 / ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days).
China's domestic caprolactam spot market was firm on February 7, but trading atmosphere looked plain in the market.
Cargo holders offered in the range of 24,200-24,500 Yuan / ton and downstream bids were around 24,000 Yuan / ton and actual negotiation focused on 24,000-24,200 Yuan / ton.
