PX & PSF prices stable, ethylene still moving up

Paraxylene (PX) price remained stable in Asian markets at around US$ 1640/ton. In S E Asian market, PX prices were at US$ 1635/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1635/ton to US$ 1640/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market was quoted at US$ 1635/ton.

In Asian markets, PTA price declined slowly. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1200/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1200/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price was around RMB 9050/ton to RMB 9100/ton.

In S E Asian market, Ethylene price increased further in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1245/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In U.S.A market, ethylene price was in the range of 67.75 cents/pound to 68.75 cents/pound. In European market Ethylene offers were in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton.

MEG price declined in S E Asian markets and was offered in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 8150/ton to RMB 8250/ton. In European domestic market MEG price was in the range of € 1080ton to € 1090/Ton.

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1645/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1655/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip offered at RMB 11850/ton.

In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was in the range of US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1560/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1550/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11300/ton.

PSF price was stable in N Asian market in the range of US$ 1775/ton to US$ 1780/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1680/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers stayed in the range of RMB 12300/ton to RMB 12375/ton.

Polyester POY price was stable in Chinese domestic market. POY price was around RMB 12300/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at RMB 13050/ton to RMB 13600/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1680/ton, US$ 1780/ton and US$ 1850/ton, respectively.
