Chinese nylon-6 chip imports hike in Jan

Chinese Nylon-6 chip imports rose in January from its previous month as well as from a year earlier.
China imported 49,700 tons of Nylon-6 chips in January 2012, up 8,100 tons or 19.47 percent from December 2011.
It also rose 2,800 tons or 5.97 percent compared with the same period last year, according to statistics.
The average import price was US $2,920 / ton in January, down 8.57 percent from the average price of its previous month and also down 3.54 percent from a year ago.
