China's Fuanna Bedding to invest in home textiles unit

Shenzhen Fuanna Bedding and Furnishing Co. Ltd., one of China's largest bedding & furnishings manufacturers, intends to invest 500 million Yuan to set up a home textiles manufacturing unit in Anhui province of southeastern China.
The company, which specializes in bedding linens, said the investment will be made in four phases.
The first two phases would involve construction of factory building and installation of machinery. The third and fourth phases would consist of logistics and commercial aspects as well as setting up of training and exhibition centres.
Fuanna Bedding said the new factory will enable it to reduce logistics costs, while benefiting from the availability of local workforce.
